The Lubricants Sales Competition celebrates outstanding performance while staying true to Volvo’s values of fairness, integrity and compliance. Each market sets its own goals and recognises top achievers, with winners joining an exclusive incentive trip that combines business focus with memorable shared experiences. Supported globally by Volvo and Shell, the programme ensures every step is transparent, responsible and rewarding.

- This Lubricants Sales Competition is designed to drive performance in a lawful and ethical way, and it is in full compliance with the Volvo Code of Conduct.
- Compliance with the Volvo Code of Conduct applies at all times, and all participants are reminded that any form of corruption, including bribery, is strictly prohibited.
- Any breach of the Code of Conduct, including the Anti-Corruption Policy, will lead to exclusion from the competition.
- It is the Volvo Trucks management in each market that sets the targets to be achieved, nominating who should participate and who should win the prize.
- The targets which need to be met in order to win the prize are set individually by the Volvo Truck markets.
- Volvo Truck managers in each market should ensure that the targets are realistic and achievable.
- Volvo Trucks in each market is free to set whatever prices it wishes for the sales of the lubricants products from Shell.
- The monitoring and tracking of the results in the Lubricants Sales Competition will be done monthly in cooperation with Shell.
- The incentive trip/prize for the winners will be appropriate to the commercial circumstances, moderate and business focused.
- The incentive trip/prize is funded globally and locally, where the global marketing funds contribute to the setup of the framework, planning and execution.
- Local marketing funds contribute as participation fees for the winning dealers from each market, eligible to join the trip.
- This funding mainly covers everything included in the incentive trip, such as accommodation, logistics, meals and activities.
- Volvo Trucks in each market decides how much of their marketing fund to be spent on participation in the incentive trip.
- Each market is responsible to pay for their participants’ flights.
- Shell has the rights to set a maximum limit of participants from each market to accommodate with the capabilities of the venue.
- Each local market should check compliance with applicable local laws & policies before providing the sales competition and/or the incentive trip.
