  • Keep your hi-vis vest on at all times during the visit, unless in designated safe areas (Lubricant Masterclass/lunch venue).
  • Wear all issued PPE as instructed and report any damage or issues immediately.
  • Do not remove PPE until advised it is safe to do so by event organisers.

First Aid and Accidents

  • First aid kits and first aiders are available within the event team.
  • Report any injury, incident, or near-miss — no matter how minor — to your host or safety representative, who will inform the event organisers.
  • Drinking water and restroom facilities are available in designated areas, as well as a lunch break during the visit to the GTO Plant.

Restricted and Hazardous Areas

  • Do not touch any equipment, tools, or machinery unless authorised.
  • Stay behind barriers, within marked walkways, and obey all warning and safety signs.

  • Do not use your mobile phones on the factory floor as this is forbidden.

Environmental and Hygiene Considerations

  • Dispose of litter in bins provided.
  • Use designated handwashing or sanitising points after contact with site surfaces or before eating.
  • Some areas may have noise, dust, or temperature hazards — let your guide know if you feel unwell as soon as you notice a difference.

Photography and Confidentiality

  • No photography or recording is allowed during the factory tour due to confidential content. A professional photography crew will capture images during the tour, which will be shared on the OEM Hub post-event.
  • Respect confidentiality and do not share or discuss any sensitive information about the site or its operations.

Weather and Terrain

  • Be mindful of uneven ground, steps, or slippery surfaces, especially on the factory floor.
  • In adverse weather when travelling from location to location, follow guidance on suitable routes and protective gear.
